Catering Assistant-AKL

LSG Sky Chefs is an airline catering company operating throughout New Zealand.  

Our Auckland team is based near the airport.  We make meals and then deliver and load our products onto aircraft at the airport.  We bring back all the used equipment and catering, then wash or dispose of everything

This role is in our food assembly area.  You will be a part of the team that plates meals and prepares food and equipment items for airline passengers.  

Experience in a process environment would be great, but what we really value is your reliability and enthusiasm.  You will be working with our Transport and production kitchen teams, and you need to be someone who can get on with everyone!

Ideal candidates will have:

• A good eye for detail 
• Be able to work in a temperature-controlled (cold) environment
• Work at standing workstations 
• Be able to follow basic work instruction documents (speak & write in English)
• Preferable previous experience in a pick and pack job
• Valid work rights enabling them to work full time in New Zealand
