Dishwasher /Potwasher- CHC

LSG Sky Chefs is an airline catering company operating throughout New Zealand. With an increase in business, we need staff to help us deliver our great services to our airline clients.

We are currently recruiting for Dishwashers/Potwashers in our Christchurch Customer Service Centre. You will be processing, sorting airline equipment and loading equipment into dishwashers or cleaning kitchen cookware.

Key Accountabilities

1. Loading equipment into dishwashers
2. Use provided equipment to clean kitchen cookware
3. Use chemical cleaning agents by following instructions
4. Respond to direction of supervisor
5. Work with others to achieve outcome
6. Work in cooperation with other departments regarding supply and timing of tasks
7. Adhere to LSG Sky Chefs policies and procedures
8. Any other duties or tasks assigned to you by your supervisor / manager

Physical ability

1. Lots of bending, pushing
2. Light to Heavy lifting
3. On feet all day
4. Exposure to some cleaning chemicals
5. Wet conditions

Knowledge and Experience

1. English read, write, and count (basic +)
2. Chemicals Safety Training
3. Detail oriented
4. Understand cleaning procedures

Applicants should be:

• Physically fit
• Reliable, committed to attend when rostered on
• Attention to detail and have quick hands
• Able to work either am or pm shift
• Have NZ citizenship/ residency or a valid NZ work visa
